People are asking, “I want to buy an affordable place outside the city where I can take my friends and/or family for nature hikes and beaches that feels like a getaway but that’s also quick to and from Seattle.” I’ve answered this in August City Highlights in the ”neighborhoods” section.

Personally, I’ve been enjoying adding some house plants to our little nest which I did not have before. Selecting the plants and pots for them has brought me so much joy. I could not find any affordable ceramic pots, most are plastic ☹ so I bought standard clay post and sprayed them with primer, then added my favorite colors to coordinate in my home. It was inexpensive and so pretty!
